Male Pigs!

Have you ever noticed that it is perfectly acceptable for some groups to promote their demographic while it is unacceptable for others? Have you noticed that some people are allowed to actively demonise other demographics to promote their own causes?

This problem is rife here in New Zealand but is not confined to these shores. Minorities are encouraged to promote views favourable to their ethnicity even at the expense of others. The fallible theory that minorities cannot be racist is strongly entrenched in the psyche of many New Zealanders. 'Pakehas' who promote their demographic on the other hand can be seen as racist, even though no derogatory statements about other races exist. Any promotion of the 'white race' triggers warning flags and accusations of racism even when grounded in fact.

A similar problem befalls men. Have you ever noticed that women promoting female values are 'feminists' while their male counterparts are 'male chauvanist pigs'? Why are women not 'female chauvanist sows'? The simple answer is hypocracy.

There exists little doubt that injustices have occured against ethnic minorities and women in the west, but I propose a theory that is growing in popularity; namely, that of the pendulum swinging too far in the opposite direction.

There are many cases that one can draw on to justify the argument for a 'persecution of men' but for the purposes of this conversation let's just stick with the current airline issue.

It has recently been revealed that it is the policy of both Air New Zealand as well as Qantas to not allow men to sit near unaccompanied minors (children). I take offence to the notion that I am a potential paedophile. I suppose an argument can be made that we are potentially capable of anything but the fact that this has been judged as so likely as to be included in policy and put into operation is outright offensive.

But then again, it's just men moaning about something again. What do we care, after all men have it made. Society is set up for us to succeed automatically especially if you're white as well. Sometimes I think that it would be nice to be an 'unemployed female lesbian Maori solo mother with six children to different fathers and missing a leg'. Imagine the benefits that would come my way! Oops, I shouldn't have said that!

[Note to self: try to be more politically correct. My racism and sexism is oppressing other hardworking human beings. I should funnel more of my hard earned cash toward them instead of selfishly supporting myself and those I love]

I guess this new policy suits me fine as I hate children and take some comfort in the knowledge that I don't have to sit next to a snot nosed little brat for 12 hours inflight at the end of this month. What I do take offence to is that the [increasingly less attractive] female flight attendants are being trained to think that I am more of a pervert than I actually am! I only had a slight chance of fucking them in the toilet before, but now Airline Management has dramatically reduced even those odds!
